Robocoach helps you throughout the coaching programme

The app’s ”career coach” Robocoach guides and helps you navigate the app. When you click the Robocoach icon, a chat window will open where Robocoach tells you about the app and recommends challenges and videos for you. Additionally, Robocoach gives you more information about different topics related to working life.

Skill Profile gathers your know-how

The Skill Profile collects your skills and strengths from all areas of life: your free time, work life, and education. A part of the information will be gathered to your personal Skill Profile from the challenges you complete. You can also add additional information to the Skill Profile. Skill Profile can be found from the menu bar under “Profile”. The Skill Profile assists you with your job search because it collects all the relevant information in one place. The Skill Profile also prepares a pre-filled skills-based CV for you.

Create a skills-based CV with a single click!

A skills-based CV is an alternative to a traditional CV and it is becoming more popular in the job market. Skills-based CV is an excellent choice if you have little to no work experience or even if you have more experience. You can download a skills-based CV for yourself from Duunikoutsi, completely free of charge.

Go to the “Profile” where you will be asked to create an account and fill in your Skill Profile. By clicking on the “CV machine” you will receive a ready CV that has been pre-filled with information from your skill profile. You can customize your CV by changing its colour, layout, and the shape of your profile picture. You can download the CV as a pdf-file or send a link to your web-based CV directly to a prospective employer.

The Duunikoutsi app provides guidance counsellors, and other professionals working with young people, a useful coaching tool, that helps guide the young person towards a better self-awareness and a fulfilling working life. From this page you can find tips on why and how to use Duunikoutsi as a part of coaching. You can also download the teaching materials and use them during your lessons or coaching sessions.

Why?

With Duunikoutsi, you can together with the young person, discuss themes relevant to them from self-awareness to job hunting and working life skills. You can use Duunikoutsi in an informal way as a coaching tool but in order to make your job easier, Economy and Youth TAT provides teaching materials with exercises for you to use. We have Duunikoutsi teaching materials aimed at basic education and upper secondary level.

How?

Duunikoutsi teaching material for professionals will provide you with basic information about Duunikoutsi and how to use it as a coaching tool. Duunikoutsi teaching material on the other hand includes an introduction and exercises for you to use as a part of your guidance counselling sessions or tutoring. Each topic is divided into smaller tasks that young people will complete in Duunikoutsi. Exercises include individual work and reflective discussions with a pair or the whole group.

Each exercise takes from 10 to 20 minutes, and you can combine them to plan for the whole lesson or use them individually as short tasks.

Support from Duunikoutsi in coaching

Duunikoutsi app provides the following features for you to benefit from in your coaching:

Robocoach – The app’s chatbot ”Robocoach” guides and helps the young person navigate through the app. Robocoach makes suggestions on how to proceed in the app. You can also find more information on working life related topics through Robocoach.

Skills-based CV – With the CV-Machine, found in Duunikoutsi Skill Profile, the young person can download a completed pre-filled skills-based CV. The CV includes information about the young person’s know-how collected through completed challenges and information submitted to the Skill Profile. The CV-Machine can be found under the profiile tab.

Skill Profile – The Skill Profile collects the young person’s skills and strengths from all areas of life: free time, work life, and education. A part of the information will be gathered automatically to the Skill Profile based on the completed challenges. Additionally, the young person can also add other information to the Skill Profile. The Skill Profile facilitates job search because it collects all the relevant information the young person will need in one place.

Language versions – The app is available in Finnish, English and Swedish. Additionally there is a version where you can find key words in Arabic, Russian, and Somali combined with simplified Finnish. You can choose your language when you first launch the app or change your language from the “Settings” tab.

Simplified version – If you use the app in Finnish, we offer two versions: Regular version and Simplified version. The content of the simplified version is lighter, meaning there are less challenges and the language used is easy Finnish. The simplified version is aimed at young people who have challenges with learning, reading, or understanding standard Finnish.
